Arial Bold (Satellite Image) Typeface
March 12, 2016

This is a cool website I was directed to that identifies building structures/lanscapes as letters. You can then type out words with these letters! (multiple examples for each letter as well). Here's the link if you want to try it out: http://type.aerial-bold.com/tw/
It's cleverly named "Arial Bold" (Arial as in view from the sky), and could be a cool way to have students think about prespective, as well as intro them to using google maps to survey land. Let me know if you use this and how you utilized it in the classroom.
